Planning Your Gazebo

A gazebo is an outdoor shelter that can function as a backyard retreat, a casual dining area, or a gathering spot for family and friends.  However, you intend to use it, building your gazebo with pressure treated wood will make it an enjoyable addition that will last for years.

It's important to check local zoning and building code regulations before you start building.  Many communities have regulations for "accessory buildings" including height and size restrictions and setbacks. There may also be some limitations on the types of materials you can use.  Also, you need to be aware of the location of all utility lines including water, gas, electric and sewage.
